Our Flexibility

As a potential buyer, some of your concerns about investing in video might be:

  1. “I’m going to spend money on video, and the quality of the final product won’t be what I want.”
  2. “I’m going to spend money on video, and I might discover that the production company is a real hassle to work with.”
  3. “I’m going to spend money on video, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to take full advantage of it and get a good return on my investment.”

Recognizing that concerns like this are normal, we are flexible in the way we work with you.  Most importantly, we do not require that organizations hire us for full video production.  This means you can purchase a piece of our service, a la carte.   By working together on a smaller project, it allows both you and Reflection Films to begin a working relationship without a major investment on your end.

Here are several possible ways to work together:

Pre-production consultation

You can hire us for a brief consult (or longer, if you want) to explore what you want to accomplish with video, who your audiences are, and what your messages might be.  We will give you ideas on the best ways to communicate your message with video, help you determine who and what to film, talk with you about different approaches to filming, and answer any other questions you may have.

Production

Hire us for filming only.  Perhaps you are hosting an event with clients.  You would like to record the event and capture customer testimonials, but you don’t want to commit to anything further.  We can film for you and then hand over the footage.  By the way, no matter how a client hires us, they always retain complete rights to the footage we record for them.

Post-production

You may have existing video that you just want edited.  No problem.  We’re happy to do that.

Whether you hire us for partial or full production services, we always explore the ways to maximize your investment with us.  Some examples of this might be:

  • Engaging in strategic conversations early on about how we not only can help clients with their current project but simultaneously capture footage that can be used for other objectives;
  • Reviewing unused footage (and often there’s a lot of it!) in order to make additional, short clips;
  • Pulling excerpts from the “main” video that can be used for teasers on websites or in email campaigns;
  • Offering ideas or resources for: marketing with video, tracking viewership of online video, or using video for SEO purposes.

Our main objective is to make the production experience easy for our clients – whether it’s the type of service they purchase from us, or the process we employ for all of our projects.
